Corel is looking for a meticulous and experienced Data Warehouse Architect to help change the way the world works. Here, you will be engaging with business to solicit their requirements, and design effective Data model.

THE ROLE:

  • Design effective solutions to meet and address Corel’s data needs
  • Create and administer the enterprise-level data warehouse 
  • Help create effective Data Models, so that the business can effectively consume the data
  • Work with internal Data teams to create Models for receiving data from external vendors
  • Communicate ideas clearly, both verbally and through concise documentation, to various business sponsors, business analysts and technical resources

YOU:

  • 15 years of experience in a related position
  • Extensive experience with dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema) 
  • Lead and participate in design discussion and meetings
  • Proven experience performing conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling and data modeling tools and database design in complex, large-scale environments.
  • Problem solving attitude and willingness to take on tough challenges and projects
  • Experienced in leading significant data architecture transformation at a technical level within an organization
  • Experience with cloud data warehouse providers like Redshift, BigQuery or Snowflake 
  • An Undergraduate or College Diploma in Computer Science or Software Engineering

The following are not required, but definitely nice to have:

  • Balance of technical and business acumen
  • Data management, segmentation, ETL standard methodologies
