Job Description

We are looking for an Automated Machinery Controls Technician to join a team of dedicated, supportive, and enthusiastic people to help create the future of manufacturing. Come solve the hardest problems with the best team on the planet!

What You’ll Do

• Operate an automated welding machine that is integrated into a customer’s manufacturing process
• Use our cutting-edge machines to weld products to customer specifications
• Read engineering drawings, assembly diagrams, and electrical schematics
• Use proprietary software to control robots to weld a variety of components
• Operate cranes, robots, and material handling equipment
• Inspect, clean, and replace electrical and mechanical components
• Assist in troubleshooting and repair of welding cell components

Who You Are

• You are open to 80% travel to customer sites
• You have 2+ years of experience operating manufacturing equipment
• You have experience working command lines and possess a basic understanding of machine programming (Linux preferred)
• You are personable, adaptable and are capable of working on problems alone, or with a team
• You are able to lift 40 lbs
• You are able to work directly with customers
• You possess basic understanding of automated machinery
• You have the ability to both service and operate machinery on customer sites
• You have knowledge of basic multimeter functions such as checking AC/DC voltage, Amperage, Resistance, Continuity
• You have experience using common hand tools
• You have, or can obtain a crane operator license if needed
• You are comfortable working with AC and DC voltage
