Job Description

Health-Chain is a mission-driven, early-stage startup, focused on transforming the healthcare payor industry, by improving data interoperability between payors and providers and ultimately creating a more personalized patient experience, thus lowering the overall cost of healthcare. We are actively seeking a talented architect for building software on the Azure cloud.

Location: Remote within the USA, while Covid-19 exists

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure the project meets business objectives and compliance standards
• Support test and deployment of new products and features
• Participate in code reviews

Requirements

• BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5-8 years of Programming experience
• 2+ years of experience developing Backends using NodeJS
• 2+ years of Experience developing Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Azure Logic App
• Working knowledge of Azure storage services
• In-depth knowledge and working experience with Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices, functions, event/messaging processing architecture or other Cloud Native architectures.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server
• Good Knowledge of database modeling and database performance tuning
• Experience developing and deploying REST APIs
• Good knowledge of Unit Testing, experience with the postman, JMeter
• Azure experience is must-have

Preferred Skills

• Healthcare experience is good to have
  Experience with Healthcare Information Exchange protocol FHIR on Azure FHIR server
