Job Description

Through our Microsoft Research Cambridge Residency program, you will have the opportunity to work alongside prominent researchers and engineers in Cambridge, UK. You will build and apply your research and engineering skills and get hands-on experience working on some of society’s toughest challenges, in areas spanning AI, Cloud Infrastructure, Health, Future of Work and Confidential Computing. We are searching for a diverse range of researchers and engineers with unique perspectives, who want to see their work have an impact in the real-world. As a Cambridge Resident, you will undertake a two-year program, where you will:

• Gain real-world, hands-on industry experience while working alongside prominent researchers, engineers and product teams;
• Join a multi-disciplinary research team and work directly on a project;
• Interact with a wider research community working in areas spanning Cloud Infrastructure, Confidential Computing, Future of Work, Machine Intelligence, and Health Futures;
• Benefit from a rich program of training opportunities and interesting technical talks relevant to your career development;
• Benefit from mentorship and network opportunities broadly across Microsoft;
