The role

MemryX is looking for AI/ML Applications Engineers with a passion for vision-based AI/ML systems who want to make our customers successful.

What you will be doing:

• Integrating the latest accelerator hardware and software with customer applications to validate the MemryX value proposition for each application.
• Benchmarking competitive solutions to identify advantages and disadvantages of the MemryX approach.
• Providing feedback to the architecture and development teams based on customer and benchmarking trials.
• Contributing to software engineering best practices for development, testing, documentation, and technical reviews
• Architecting, designing, and maintaining our neural software development kit to maintain compatibility with current and future neural compiler and hardware solutions.
• Building and maintaining customer-facing software tools.

What we expect to see:

• BS/MS in Computer Science with 3+ years of experience in Computer Vision, Embedded Systems Design, SW architecture, SW/HW co-design
• Hands-on experience with customer facing software development (SDK preferred) and ability to master new technologies and complex systems
• Knowledge of fundamental AI/neural-networks concepts
• Strong programming proficiency (C/C++, Python, Linux) and excellent object-oriented design skills
• Self-driven with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

What we would be happy to see:

• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow/Keras, PyTorch, or ONNX).
• Experience with streaming video data/tools such as GStreamer and OpenCV.
• Camera software, ADAS, and robotics neural network models understanding.

Application-specific accelerators understanding.

Reports to: Director of Customer & Applications Engineering

Work location: This role can be remote, hybrid or in person in the United States, Taiwan or India
