What you'll do
As a Senior Data Scientist in the Climate and Data Technology team, you’ll be evaluating and improving business processes and products with a focus on how our business and our customers affect the world around us. You’ll be supporting and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on a wide range of business problems such as modelling the impact of climate change and identifying new and innovative ways to support our green transition.

The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you’ll need evidence of previous project implementation and work experience gained in a data analysis related field as part of a multidisciplinary team. Additionally, you’ll hold a degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or physics, or you’ll have evidence of equivalent practical experience. Experience with handling climate data is advantageous, but not required, as is knowledge or experience of AWS, SQL, Tableau, and PySpark. Strong Python or R skills are essential. The salary range starts at £46,500 plus 10% pension funding and 10% benefit funding, and you’ll benefit from flexible working options, and access to various training courses.
