Job Description

The primary focus will be in applying Natural Language Processing techniques, tools, and technologies to analyze and flag communications and other text documents to reduce the overall risk profile of the company and enable new capabilities. The E&C Data Scientist will explore large sets of unstructured data to identify relevant and inappropriate content, develop hypotheses, make inferences, and home in on specific risk-related trends. The E&C Data Scientist will need to work collaboratively with the existing E&C Analytics team, Corporate Audit Services, and Advance Analytics and Data Sciences organizations to gather requirements and implement innovative solutions.

Functional Requirements

Technical Skills

• Data Mining; Statistical Modelling; Insight Generation; Machine Learning; Natural Language Processing (NLP); Natural Language Understanding (NLU); Ability to Integrate Structured and Unstructured Data
• Experience in Programming/Computational language - R, Python (at least one)
• Experience with handling large datasets on the Cloud (AWS)

• Intellectual Curiosity; Creativity; Strong Written, Verbal, and Communication Abilities

Educational Qualification

• B.A. / B.S. in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or PhD / Masters in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field
