Job Description

• Gather complex data inputs from multiple sources, both internally and externally, to create analytic data sources using Teradata, SQL Server, Azure and SSAS.
• Apply experience designing, developing, and administration with Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server, SSIS).
• Assess the needs of the business, prioritize projects, and drive new reporting requirements to completion. 
• Work cross-functionally as needed to enable data architecture and solutions that best meet the analytics and reporting needs of the business. 
• Apply experience bridging gaps between requirements and design involving source system exploration, analysis and mapping using database Microsoft SQL Management Studio with Visual Studio and Visio for visualization.
• Apply hands-on development experience with OLAP, multi-dimensional and Tabular cube structures.
• Apply experience designing and developing Teradata, SQL Server, and Azure Database Objects for data warehouse, data mart and decision support teams.
• Apply experience designing and developing applications leveraging big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
• Drive clarity or requirements and ensure delivery meets agreed upon requirements.
• End-to-end management of development projects from concept and requirements gathering to testing and deployment.
• Identify and communicate key insights to leadership team based on reports and analysis.
• Work cross-functionally to identify and implement enhancements to reporting and analytics processes.
• Complete complex ad hoc research, analyses and reporting. 

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Applicant’s experience must include:

• Designing, developing, and administration with Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server, SSIS).

• Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master of Science in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent and 3 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must have Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent and 5 years of relevant work experience.
