Job Description

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer is responsible for providing AI and data science domain technical expertise to HFE AI & Reservoir IE team. The key responsibilities include:

• Developing AI-driven solutions that model human behavior to accomplish complicated tasks or complete complex processes.
• Implementing AI and machine learning solutions to solve a variety of complex problems or scenarios.
• Analyzing and associating AI principles with reasoning and uncertainty in any perspective environment.
• Applying AI and machine learning techniques for image analysis and reconstruction.
• Creating solutions that combine artificial intelligence best practices with machine learning principles.
• Evaluating and improving the performance of applications in artificial intelligence and machine learning domains.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Direct experience building machine learning solutions.
• Experience coding in one or more languages (such as Python, C++, or similar) with experience in data structures, algorithms, and software design.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with AI Planner, PDDL, or Automated Planning
• Understanding of the auxiliary practical concerns in production ML systems.
• Experience in developing REST micro-services with Typescript, Java, Python, or Golang
• Knowledge of containerization technologies - Docker, Kubernetes
• Understanding of distributed applications
• Understanding of petroleum engineering domain problems
