Job Description

You will manage, maintain and develop the Business Intelligence (BI) Reports required for all projects and clients. You will be expected to work on multiple BI technologies for creating reports and dashboards. Delivers reporting solutions that are efficient and satisfy project requirements. You will have regular technical interactions with other team members, including off-shore team, for successful project delivery. You will typically work under general supervision and direction. You will be expected to regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyzes Business Intelligence reporting requirements. Communicates with project team to clarify requirements.
• Designs reporting solution; reviews with Manager/leads, and communicates requirements to off-shore team.
• Troubleshoots technical and system questions from the off-shore development team and end-users.
• Reviews code and output from the off-shore development team.
• Develops and Implements reports & dashboards using various BI tools
• Writes Database SQL queries to search and display data from an Oracle database using tools such as SQL Plus and TOAD.
• Analyzes SQL queries to investigate report related issues faced by users.
• Ability to diagnose universe level issues.
• Provides estimates for new efforts or initiatives.
• Develops software requirements, related design, and code. 
• Performs software testing. Applies and maintains quality standards.
• Assists in all phases of SDLC.
• Some administration of Hummingbird and SAP WEBI/Crystal environments.
• Conducts in-House design reviews and technical meetings. Makes presentations before management and customers.
• Assesses severity of problems, determines corrective action, resolves technical problems, and performs fault isolation and implements solutions. 
• Revises and updates programs and documentation, including reviewing schedules and milestones. 
• Keeps abreast of improvements in programming techniques.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Four year college degree in computer science or related field plus a minimum of two years’ experience in reports design and development. Requires development experience in SAP WEBI / SAP Crystal, Hummingbird, Oracle 11g, 12c, SQL querying, PL/SQL programming using tools such as Toad. Report creation and Dashboard creation experience using Data Warehouse is a must. Some administration experience is desirable in SAP or Hummingbird tools. Demonstrated experience building close working relationships with customers and internal delivery personnel (communicating business requirements of the customer to internal technical staff). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines. Sound time management skills with ability to articulate clearly with off-shore and on-site members. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers, and with technical and non-technical persons. Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure deadlines.
