Job Description

This position is to join Western Digital’s Test Development team which is responsible for developing tests to verify our products. You will work with a team of software engineers in an agile development environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review industry and customer specifications.
Develop test cases on various platforms to satisfy the requirements.
Perform triage on test failures and provide analysis and resolution.
Participate in code reviews and meetings to support WDs projects.
Work in an Agile development team.
Work with cross functional teams and provide, influences validation expertise/strategy

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

Software development experience especially with Python.
Bachelor’s Degree in CS/CE or related technical field and up to 3 years of software development experience.

SKILLS:

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, reporting and tracking bugs & triaging issues
Self-learner, excellent interpersonal skills & communication skills

PREFERRED:

Experience in storage device a plus.
Experience with agile test methodology.
