About this Position:

In this role, you will be supporting the Market Quality team by identifying and resolving warranty issues quickly to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain quality competitiveness. Our Data Engineers review multiple data sources to evaluate, summarize and draw conclusions to identify trends that lead to countermeasure activity. 

Responsibilities include:

• Use engineering fundamentals to identify problems through various data sources
• Support cleaning data to ensure proper classification of market problems
• Look for data trends not previously identified through deep understanding of the data
• Transform data using SQL, Python, etc to identify trends that lead to actionable problems
• Generate groupings of claims to support identification and classification of market problem
• Utilize modelling, statistics, and trend analysis to forecast future failure rates for known problems
• Support developing algorithms to change raw data into useful information for the organization
• Utilize predictive analytics to support future growth to ensure action is taken at the appropriate time

Who we are seeking:

Required Experience:

0-3 years of education or 3 months of Co-op experience in analytical or information analysis

Required Education:

BS in Computer Science, Data analytics, Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering with strong engineering aptitude or equivalent experience
