Job Description

The Director of Channel Pricing and Data Management Systems manages a global cross functional team and provides IT solutions and Operational support for Seagate’s Go-To-Market function of sales, marketing, and customer service. These functions include facilitating a best-in-class program management office, project pipeline, master data management, customer on-boarding, channel data management, and pricing applications for the lead-to-cash value stream.

About the role - you will:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads a global cross-functional team
• Responsible for delivery and support of Pricing applications to support the lead to cash process end-to-end.
• Manages the team supporting channel data operations including PoS/Inventory data collection, Cleansing and reporting
• Drives master data management (MDM) and owns the customer master as well as the distribution channel data via channel data management (CDM).
• Drives customer on-boarding and training for sales tools and portals.
• Works on complex issues where analysis of situations, data, and processes requires an in-depth knowledge of the company to deliver solutions.
• Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives.
• Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists sales management in understanding sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement and learning.
• Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales and marketing organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
• Responsibility for project pipeline and leading a best-in-class program management office.

Your experience includes:

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Bachelors’ Degree with 10+ years of relevant Experience
• 5+ years supporting the Lead-to-Cash value stream or Go-To-Market corporate functions
• Exceptional business acumen and general knowledge around theory and practice of finance, sales, marketing, IT, operations, and pricing
• Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous improvement attitude: ability to suggest and implement best practices.
• Experience with any one of Channel Data Management tools (Model N, Vistex, Zyme etc.) is required
• Master Data Management experience
• Great communication skills and the ability to simplify complex situations and concepts
