Job Description

The Web development team in ICE Data Services is looking for a full stack developer for client facing web application. This includes turning ideas and requirements into technical specs, development and testing of new features, fix bugs and delivering products with latest technologies.

As full stack developer with focus on web application, you will contribute to feature development, product delivery, provide technical support, and help improve best engineering practices. You will work closely with solution architects, technical leads, other engineers, product and testing team in a distributed yet highly collaborated environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and support client facing financial applications
• Focus on the priorities in order to deliver the required task on time with high quality
• Participate in the full software development life-cycle: requirement gathering, estimation, design and coding, defect fixes, deployment and support.
• Adopt best practices, standards and guidelines
• Be available as dev support occasionally outside of working hours.
• Ability to drive initiative and move projects forward to completion with little supervision

Knowledge and Experience

• 3+ years full stack development experiences
• Self-motivated, curious, and passionate about building products that scale
• Strong experience of JavaScript / ES6, CSS, and HTML5.
• Hands on experience with React framework, or Angular2+
• Experience with Java / Spring, or LAMP stack with PHP, MySQL and Apache.
• Familiar with Scrum and Agile development methodology and tools
• Experience with Scrum and Agile development methodology and tools
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and writing skills.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience

Preferred

• Experience with Node, Express and Routing
• Prior experience in Financial Service / fintech
• Experience building and consuming JSON based RESTful web services
• Experience building Enterprise Applications on Web and mobile devices
• Interested in finance and want to work for a firm that is best-in-class
