Data Scientists support product; methodology enhancement, new product roll-outs, sample design, universe estimation, data inquiries and data fusion. Data Scientists also ensure our survey methodology and design are aligned with global standards and industry best practices.

ROLE DETAILS:

  • Lead and develop team members.
  • Lead Thought Leadership - Partner with Regional and Functional DSci teams to support the development of new methodologies and services; ensure sustainability.
  • Drive Data Science solutioning - consult with stakeholders and provide expert technical consultation to solve complex business issues to help measure the fragmented media environment optimally
  • Stakeholder Management - Interact with stakeholders on new methodology implementation to enhance the quality of Media services.
  • Manage the development and application of technology skills to improve business processes through automation and programming tools.
  • Training and Development - Lead planning for internal training sessions to keep stakeholders informed of new or amended Statistical methodologies.
  • To be responsible for the smooth running of the multiple teams by effective management.
  • Establishes high standards of performance and define relevant performance KPIs; enable teams to continuously maintain the highest KPI levels
  • Provides support, recognition and feedback to assist employees to achieve their performance standards
  • Financial Planning - Develop Operating plan, manage costs.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering or Science discipline with outstanding analytical expertise and strong technical leadership
  • No less than 5 years of work experience in the survey research industry with hands on experience in developing and executing survey research methodologies
  • Strong understanding of how to use Data Science, ML and AI techniques to analyze data
  • Ability to provide internal stakeholders with knowledge and insight into research findings
  • Excellent Project Management skills.
  • Working experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Experience with working in a computing environment, with large datasets and able to integrate across datasets
  • Leadership and team player abilities: To build and lead a cohesive high-performance team that delivers superior results without having direct report responsibility.
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced business environment
  • Results Oriented: To be reliable upon meeting goals, targets and daily tasks within required timeframes, providing high quality results and services that exceed the requirements of internal and/or external clients.
  • Proactive and Initiative: Proactively identifying bottleneck areas and/or undertake tasks and initiatives that are beyond the scope of the defined job but that contribute to the effectiveness of the work unit.
  • Ability to work under pressure: ability to react to problems, issues and deadlines with an appropriate sense of urgency
  • Outstanding analytical and planning skills (Problem solving): To be able to identify a problems and to generate timely solutions by thinking creatively and developing strategies to achieve business goals
  • Exceptional communication skills & Professional interaction: To maintain a good level of communication with external/internal collaborators
