We are looking for an intern to join us from December 2022/January 2023 onwards, for a 6-7 months commitment. Please indicate your availability, i.e duration and full-time/part-time in your application. Students who can commit full-time will be preferred.

The successful candidate will join the EAJ Data Analytics team responsible for interpreting data and turning it into insights.

Data Analysts are a critical link between the data delivered by the technical teams and the data consumed by the business. Their outputs are consumed by the organization in order to make decisions and support strategies.

What will you do?

Data Analysis

• Gather, structure and visualise information from various sources, to be interpreted to support business decisions
• Make recommendations about the methods and ways in which the company obtains and analyzes data to improve quality and efficiency of data systems
• To identify patterns and trends in data sets
• Analyse results

Business Interpretation

• Work alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
• Collect and interpret data
• Report the results back to the relevant business stakeholders
• Design Data for Dashboards serving business needs

What qualifications will make you successful

• Bachelor’s in Business/Business Analytics/Data Analytics/Mathematics/Statistics or similar
• Proficiency with using Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel
• Proficiency with using SQL, Tableau will be an added advantage
• Strong analytical mindset and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, as well as multiple stakeholders
• Ability to navigate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and have good judgement skills
