We are looking for an Engineering Manager for Prep Connectivity team who is passionate about advancing the state-of-the-art Data Management space and in helping deliver on our company’s mission by collaborating in a healthy and diverse environment. Prep Connectivity team focuses on data connectivity, ingestion, processing, and output data into the target destinations.
As a Senior Engineering Manager on the Tableau Prep team, your major responsibilities include…
- Leading a team of engineers to deliveration framework.
We are looking for an Engineering Manager for Prep Connectivity team Tableau Prep Connectivity Experiences. Your team will build features for Data Prep on Desktop product (aka Builder), On-premise Servers and Online. - Drive engineering excellence on the team and foster a culture of continuous learning and obsession around scale, performance, security and usability.
- Drive and improve Processes for better functioning of the team.
- Driving Release planning and executing strategies for completing projects on time.
- Recruit, coach, motivate, and grow an amazing team of engineers.
- Partner with Product Management, UX Design, architects and other engineering teams in building delightful experiences for our customers.
- Contributing to the design and architecture of the product and tackling a wide variety of technical challenges in building systems for large scale data preparation and analyses.
Who you are…
- Experienced. You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. You have 3+ years managing developers and a proven track record of leading teams in building software applications.
