The Algorithms Platform team builds the tools that make deep integration of data science into all areas of our business possible. We are responsible for designing the technical systems that shape and guide how data scientists impact our strategy, operations, and decision making. Because Data Scientists at Stitch Fix are encouraged (and expected!) to rapidly explore ideas and hypotheses, they need to have tools that encourage creativity and support rigorous analysis.
We are looking for a Software Engineer with interest and experience building computational and data handling services and systems for data scientists. You must be interested in designing and building APIs, services, and tools that are logical, elegant, and extensible. You should be excited about fostering best practices for users of the artifacts you create, and enjoy the challenge of trying to discover and invent new, better ways of using data science tools even before the scientists ask for them.
