Responsibility:

• Work with teams across various domains like Recommendations, Personification, Search, Content Generation, Sales Optimisation, etc.
• Lead all machine learning implementations across Unacademy.
• Be responsible for researching and ideating solutions to complex problems and help in their implementation.
• Continuously track important metrics and keep researching novel techniques to improve them.
• Mentor the Data Sciences Team and help the team members grow.
• Research on applying machine learning techniques to improve online learning experience.

Requirements:

• 8-12 years experience in solving problems using various machine learning techniques.
• Bring leadership and principled approach to engineering to set up your team for success.
• Collaborate for impact across cross functional teams in a fast paced environment.
  • Driven multiple projects from problem formulation to delivery.
  • Deep knowledge in fields like statistics, machine learning, AI, etc.
  • Worked on a broad variety of problems spanning image processing, natural language processing, recommender systems, etc.
  • Successfully applied data science techniques to different problems thereby improving the relevant metrics significantly.
  • Led a team of Data Scientists and/or Machine Learning engineers before.
  • Updated with the latest developments in the field of data science.

• Make hiring decisions and be involved in interviewing and mentoring new engineers with the goal of quickly making them productive members of your team.
