Job Description

This position drives insights about the UPS network of today and tomorrow and involves project areas including data product management and developing innovative data visualizations. He/She will have project work matched to skillsets, strengths and interests.

Job Duties

• Develops analytical models and data visualizations to drive analytic insights
• Interacts with cross-functional teams to model current operations processes and evaluate potential solutions
• Presents data insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
• Supports in data product management by discovering, organizing, querying and manipulating data

Preferred Competencies

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively across business untis and to different levels of management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

• Rising college junior or senior, graduate student or recent graduate within the last 24 months pursuing a degree in Engineering, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Working knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio, Power BI
• Experience with discovering, organizing, querying and manipulating data
• Preferred: Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
