The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule year-round.
This position will be located at the Research Park on the University Of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus in Champaign, Illinois. It is open to students from all schools and not limited to those enrolled only at UIUC.
Your Responsibilities
As a Part Time Student-Data Scientist at the John Deere Technology Innovation Center in the University of Illinois Research Park in Champaign, Illinois, you will develop next-generation solutions to feed, clothe, fuel, shelter, and connect the world.
We are a multi-disciplinary Advanced Engineering team in our Emerging Technology group made up of a mix of full-time and part-time roles. We are focused on Advanced Sensing applications. We rapidly and iteratively design, build, and test ideas and technology that are usually new to Deere, and sometimes new to the world.
Successful candidates in these roles will be focused primarily on developing solutions for processing IoT data in harsh operating environments to generate real-time insights and actions.
