What you'll be doing:

• On the research end, the ML engineer explores, prototypes, validates, and iterates new algorithms
• On the development end, the ML engineer optimizes, productionizes, and monitors / refines on-road performance for their models
• Invent pragmatic long term and stable software solutions to sophisticated problems
• Champion engineering excellence, coming up with solutions not just identifying problems

What you must have:

• BS, MS, or higher degree, in CS/CE/EE, or equivalent proven experience
• Extensive experience with ML frameworks such as Tensorflow, Caffe, and PyTorch
• Strong experience with machine learning and classification
• Strong programming skills in Python or C++
• Excellent mathematical reasoning skills, especially with probability
• Passionate about self driving car technology and its impact on the world

Bonus points!

• PhD in machine learning or computer science
• Experience with ROS, OpenCV, Gazebo, or PCL
• Experience with CUDA
• Experience in deploying perception algorithms into real world environments
