Key Qualifications

• 6+ years of proven expertise in software development with Java, Python, Swift or Objective-C
• Expertise in automating functional & UI testing of iOS or backend services & applications
• Experience manual testing hardware by driving and delivering feature qualification
• Ability to independently learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of ML-based product lifecycle
• Experience working on large-scale products and improving cross-functional partnerships
• Proven depth of knowledge and application of statistics-based evaluation methodologies or user success metrics
• Knowledge of XCUITest and working with voice assistant is a plus

Description

This role as an automation Engineer will own the qualification of Siri on AIML future hardware products by developing evaluation tools, infrastructure, and methodologies for Apple’s hardware platforms, collaborating with outstanding cross-functional teams across the company. This role will design and build automation frameworks and methodologies to simulate and evaluate user experiences of Siri for ML-based products, these include qualification of new hardware on iOS and other platforms, automating new features including evaluation of personalization, and scalability of the frameworks across locales and device types and configuration. In this role, your responsibilities include defining and leading all aspects of user impact and success metrics. Equally, this is an opportunity to participate in Apple's AIML future-products roadmap decisions, giving insights and recommendations derived from the in-depth understanding of the current success metrics of AI/ML products.

Education & Experience

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
