M2 role Leads and manages functional analysts and software developers responsible for front end and full stack development for Cardinal Health Market, Cardinal Health public sites and Order Express target state digital presentation layer.

Role Overview

  • The eCommerce Product & Experience manager is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting customer-facing, online commerce applications and digital capabilities that support Cardinal Health Market, Cardinal Health public sites and Order Express target state digital presentation layer.
  • Demonstrates and applies technical (not functional) knowledge of software development frameworks and business process configuration systems.
  • Leverages fluency in technical languages, operating systems, application programming interfaces,> and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in DevOps practices.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of software development life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis.
  • Demonstrates understanding of enabling the customer experience(s) so that interactions are easy and simple.
  • Manages product team and project budgets.
  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of infrastructure subcomponents and interoperability including (but not limited to) SAN, network (application routing) and compute platforms.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of system information dependencies and end to end application transaction competency.
  • Maintains platform or system health and availability requirements including HADR testing.
  • Solid understanding of security principles and data protection practices.
  • Resolves support issues involving production systems.
  • Partners with Enterprise Architecture teams for product selection and productcapability roadmaps and information governance processes.
  • Monitors and manages proactive maintenance to application platform environments
  • documents and manages SOPs for software and information platform systems.
  • Interfaces with business solution teams and partners on operational platform events as well as solution design needs.

  • Gains consensus from various parties involved

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in software and systems design
  • Experience in C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, etc.
  • Experience in eCommerce technology solutions
  • Expertise in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large scale enterprise systems
  • Ability to debug and optimize code; automate routine tasks
  • Ability to develop technical/ engineering talent
  • Ability to define work processes and lead team members in successful implementation and ongoing execution preferred
  • Ability to develop individuals and teams preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills preferred
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
