The critical part of making sure the Marketing Science team is compliant to those policies and enabled to deliver business value. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Marketing Science Data Privacy Program. It’ll ensure people’s privacy is at the center of our data usage, and that we’re complying with our regulatory obligations — all while maintaining Meta’s core culture. This person will partner with teams from every organization to better document our current practices, scale our safeguards, and identify gaps. Applicants should have a strong understanding of analytics, a talent for connecting with people of very different business areas, and a willingness to empower and help others through sharing their knowledge. They should also be able to deliver key insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders on risks, team policies and best practices for the day-to-day operation.

Technical Program Manager, Marketing Science Data Responsibilities

  • Create data access policies based on company-wide guidelines, regulatory policies and legal considerations.
  • Oversight on data usage within Marketing Science Documentation of core MarSci data use cases.
  • Identification of excess data tables to reduce data usage Identification of inefficient data queries/education to improve.
  • Tracking of core tables and usage requirements. Identification of potential tool solutions to data access needs.
  • Design and develop scalable risk mitigation measures, tracking dashboards and partner with cross-functional teams to develop training and certification programs.
  • Engagement with central privacy workstreams to understand any future changes that would impact on existing Marketing Science data usage.
  • Monitor and audit downstream usage of data created by Marketing Science. Engage with users to analyze privacy risks, output closure and establish expectations regarding usage and support.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of analytics experience.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and engineers, including “roll-up the sleeves” type of collaboration within a diverse, global, cross-functional team.
  • Experience influencing and partnering with stakeholders across organizations.
  • Experience in designing, building and scaling risk processes, with experience getting things done and overcoming obstacles.
  • Experience in end-to-end strategy to implementation, navigating business structures while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Data Engineering
  • Experience in Software Engineering or Application Lifecycle Management
