The Impact You Will Make

• Set up vision, roadmap and execution of projects on timeline.
• Bringing automation and rigor in decision making by having a keen focus on explainability aspects of ML models.
• Your work will have a direct measurable impact on customer experience and also the bottom line of the company.
• Provide valuable insights and recommendations on the best tools, techniques and technologies available for large scale ML.
• Guide and mentor junior members and hire the best talent.

What You Bring to the Table

• Masters or PhD in a quantitative or technical field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science etc.
• 5+ years of hands-on industry experience in Machine Learning / Data Science with 2+ years of managing a team of at least 4+ people.
• Expert knowledge in best practices in python development for ML models.
• Experience in using Spark for data wrangling and expert knowledge in SQL.
• Experience in one or more ML modeling frameworks: scikit, tensorflow, H2O etc
• Experience with the entire pipeline of deploying machine-learning algorithms including their development, validation, implementation, production launch and post production monitoring. A big plus for experience with online inference in low latency environments.
• Strong business acumen and experience with stakeholder management, team building, mentoring and growing junior members in the team.
• Strong ability to distill and communicate complex technical concepts and solutions at a level appropriate for the intended audience with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Exposure to cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Git or similar tool for version control.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous working environment.
• Strong foundations in mathematical underpinnings of standard ML algorithms.
