As a Software Engineer in GS, your focus will be on developing AI/NLP technology based products for a variety of applications in the financial industry. As such, you should have demonstrable experience delivering applications that offer API as well as UI based experiences at scale, preferably using Cloud Native technologies. You are a technical leader who has deep understanding in building and delivering high quality products with mission critical SLOs using best practices in cloud and platform technologies. You must have a curiosity to learn new AI/ML techniques, and understand the system implications or data-centric development, testing, deployment and monitoring.

We are looking for a Software Engineer who has relevant industry experience architecting and building cloud based products. As an engineer on the team, you will have the opportunity to:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of experience developing SaaS based products on cloud. You've likely been called a Software or a Product Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in designing, and developing applications in Cloud Environment (AWS) – Lambdas, ECS, FARGATE, EC2, CloudWatch, ELK, API Gateway.
• Knowledge on Database, Logging and Monitoring.
• Kubernetes experience.
• Sound understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, IaC, and DevOps principles and best practices.
• Experience managing the operational lifecycle (monitoring, alerts, dashboards, incident management) of a production service using observability tools such as Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, etc.
• Experience with agile methodologies such as scrum, and working with product managers.
• Focus on thorough testing, code quality and delivery.
• Proficient in one programming language - Python/Java.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• AWS experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of building and working on automated MLOps is highly preferred
