Data Analytics

What We Do

Our Data Analytics team you play a key role in driving data-informed decisions at Mediatonic. This is a forward-facing role, working across a variety of teams (Product, Design, Marketing, Finance, etc.)

What You'll Do

We're looking for a Data Analyst to help the business stay on top of what is going on with our games and marketing activities by performing ad-hoc data analysis, creating dashboards and putting together reports.

The ideal candidate works well in a highly collaborative environment and is able to drive their own projects independently.

In This Role You Will

  • Work with our Data Scientists to help investigate business problems, translate them into structured statistical analysis and effectively communicate the results to a broad audience.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis, build ad-hoc reports, & statistical models to support stakeholder with decision-making.
  • Work with the Product team to identify trends with our games and marketing activities and circulate to the wider team regularly.
  • Build & maintain day-to-day and leadership dashboards in partnership with the rest of the Data team, to make informed decisions quickly while empowering others cross-functionally with readily-accessible information.
  • Work closely with the rest of the Data team to produce forecasting models for retention, churn, LTV, install lifts, etc.
  • Help document our event tracking and Identify, debug and solve issues with it.
  • Help develop the analytics methodologies for A/B testing, measurement and KPI establishment.
  • Stay up-to-date on current & upcoming innovations & capabilities in the games industry.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ Years Work Experience in a similar role, preferably in the games or tech industry and solid SQL skills.
  • Experience creating dashboards using BI or reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI, Redash, Metabase, Tableau, etc.)
  • Skilled in analysing data & drawing appropriate conclusions. Able to effectively communicate statistical findings to positively impact the business.
  • You’re user-focused, passionate, scrappy, solutions-focused, and innovative. These traits equal success at Epic and influence everything we do.

Nice To Have Skills

  • Work experience in the Games industry is a plus otherwise, a strong passion for games is necessary.
  • Advanced degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Maths, Economics or in Computer Science.
  • Experience working with data / performing statistical analysis using R or Python.
  • Experience working on data automation / data pipelines.
