Job Description

As a Data Engineer Senior in Claims IT, you’ll contribute to highly available and scalable solutions that are built on cutting-edge cloud architecture. You’ll focus on using new technologies, modern CI/CD practices, and the right tools to enhance our ability to deliver value to our customers. You’ll use your skills to migrate data to Snowflake. You’ll work with software development Agile methodologies in a fully adopted Scrum team and support Data Science team members. You’ll also be encouraged to grow in your career through new challenges, innovation events, and training opportunities. Our teams are also focused on building a fun and collaborative atmosphere. Participation in the on-call support rotation required.

This is a remote position.

Must-have qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of two years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications.
• Instead of degree, minimum of four years related work experience outlined in the above bullet. 

Preferred skills

• Experience working with Python and Prefect
• Experience with a variety of relational and non-relational databases or data sources. Also familiarity with data pipeline orchestration frameworks a plus
• Familiarity working with relational and non-relational data sources
• Analytical, technical troubleshooting, diagnosing and problem-solving skills
• Experience with cloud and cloud-computing technologies (e.g. AWS, Snowflake)

Compensation

• $99,875 - $129,250/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
