The forecasting science team consists of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and economists who are responsible for owning and managing large-scale forecasting systems to enable demand planning and supply maximization. We develop econometric, statistical, machine learning, and hybrid forecasting models to drive operational excellence throughout our supply chain.
We’re looking for an Associate Director with a background in time series and ML forecasting to lead the Forecasting Science team at Wayfair. This leader will own the vision and execution of a broad portfolio of initiatives, spanning a range of internal stakeholder groups that govern the production of demand forecasts at various granularities and integration with downstream supply planning systems.
