We’re investing in building an outstanding programme team and are looking for a versatile Data Scientist to join us.

You'll design and deliver analytics and insight to support the direction and strategy of this major programme. You'll hold responsibility for collating both high level and detailed analytics requirements to feed into the programme scope.

What you’ll do

  • Support product and proposition research for the programme through the use of sophisticated analytics enabling us to join the research results to other key data eg; bookings, flights, products
  • Work closely with the Data team to onboard and explore new sources of data associated with varying parts of the programme including Offer and Order, digital and research data
  • Become an expert on data and business processes within the Commercial and Customer areas, understanding the data lineage and ensuring the use of the data is appropriate and has integrity
  • Clearly communicate insight through presentations, workshops and conversations with key members of the programme team and senior stakeholders

What we are looking for

  • A proactive, analytically creative and collaborative individual
  • Advanced analytical skills including the ability to apply a range of analytics, visualisation and data science techniques
  • Numerate degree with large amount of content covering advanced analytics, data science and/or operational research, or highly relevant experience
  • Experience of applying analytics, data science or operational research to solve business problems (desirable)
  • Experience working with research data (desirable)
  • Experience of delivering results in a timely manner
