Description

The Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, Emory University School of Medicine, applications for faculty positions at the Assistant Professor rank. Salary commensurate with experience and education. The division is seeking a highly motivated professional with expertise and experience to work in aspects of interdisciplinary collaborative research in the Infectious Diseases Division. The candidate will work on NIH-Funded, Foundational, and Industry funded projects analyzing data from multiple sources. The candidate will also help prepare scientific presentations and manuscripts relevant to her/his research, mentor trainees and early faculty members, and serve as Director of Infectious Disease Biostatistics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A doctoral degree or equivalent (Ph.D., M.D., ScD., D.V.M., DDS, etc.) in an appropriate field. Excellent scientific writing ability and strong oral communication skills. The ability to work effectively and collegially with colleagues. Candidates must provide three letters of reference. Qualifications: At least five years of experience in the field of biostatistics, demonstrated success in obtaining grant funding, and leadership experience.
