The role involves, providing integrated consulting, Data analytics and engineering solutions for business problems and opportunities. Collaboration with different functions to develop clear business objectives and project plans, highlighting opportunities for growth and optimization. Ability to handle large business transformation & change management initiatives. Ensure that the quality and timeliness of deliverables meet the expectations.

The role will play a central role in working together with other functions to improve productivity across the organization and develop further our data driven decision-making capabilities.

The primary focus will be in the domain of data structuring, storage, extraction and analyzing data and using various types of analytics and reporting tools to detect patterns, trends, and relationships in data sets; helping to discover the hidden insights in data.

Technology and tools

• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query)
• Experience with visualization software (Power BI)
• Data Mining / Insight Generation; Statistical Modeling / Correlational Analysis; Ability to Integrate Structured / Unstructured Data
• Data cleaning and preparation skill (database querying, descriptive, diagnostics and predictive statistics)
• Experience in writing code (e.g., R, Python, SAS, SQL, VBA)
• Understanding of key statistical concepts (regressions, modelling)

Business Processes

• Establish a good and trusted working relationship with the stakeholders
• Build expertise into Lilly data architecture to bring those data sources together and maximize their value
• Support the automation of existing data processes & dashboards

Experience related requirements

• 2-4 years of strong data engineering and analytics experience
• Experience in support function analytics like HR Analytics, Finance Analytics, etc.
• Experience within pharma industry is preferable
• Experience in working with business partners located in another country

Education

• Degree in sciences or quantitative discipline i.e. Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering or Computer Sciences from Tier-I institute. MBA/post-graduation will be preferred
