Position Summary 

We are looking for an Intern – 3D Pipeline/Rigging Technical Artist who is responsible for supporting our Animation, Visual Effects, and Game pipelines. In addition, they will work with our 3D Character Artist on bringing 3D characters to life.

This role is open to immediate and future availabilities

Requirements

• Basic Python scripting using Digital Content Creation software like Maya
• Basic Command Line knowledge using Windows and/or Linux 
• Basic understanding of game assets pipeline, and how they differ from Animation and Visual Effects
• Coursework in 3D character rigging 
• Portfolio 

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Design and Engineering to support and optimize existing toolsets
• Work closely with 3D character artist on bringing 3D characters to life. 
• Help set up pipeline tools and evaluate new animation and visual effects pipelines
• Help create Graphic User Interfaces for new and existing tools

A Little Extra! 

• Basic game development using Unity C# or Unreal Blueprints
• Basic knowledge of Render Farms like Deadline and Project Management Software like ShotGrid 
• Basic IT knowledge

Must Provide a demo reel/online portfolio to be considered for the role

Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
