Job Description

Join a team of product managers helping to guide our users who are deploying the foundational software system for GIS in the infrastructure of their choice. You’ll be focused on the future of data management and new data storage options and how that fits within ArcGIS Enterprise and the broader ArcGIS portfolio. From cloud data warehouses to data lakes and more, you’ll have the challenge of helping define how all of these modern ways of storing and accessing data fits within ArcGIS. Visualizing and analyzing data is at the heart of Esri’s mission, and you could be part of that too!

Responsibilities

  • Gather market intelligence and guide development for Esri’s evolving capabilities in cloud data management and storage
  • Be a thought leader on where to go next and how the broader market is going to be evolving
  • Assist in competitive analysis and gap analysis
  • Help minimize implementation issues by providing internal staff, partner community, and end customers with information on current and upcoming releases
  • Maintain information (technical papers, PowerPoints, etc.) on best practices, current release functionality, etc.
  • Assist with the generation of product marketing materials
  • Develop demonstrations of existing and new capabilities in a context for Esri sales staff and users including distributors spread across the globe
  • Support trade shows, the Esri Partner Conference, the Esri Developer Summit, and the Esri User Conference

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a product role (engineering, development, support, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience in giving presentations to audiences with varying level of technical expertise
  • Ability to coordinate people and technical resources from multiple areas of the company
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at the technical and senior executive level
  • Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking skills
  • Bachelor's or master's in computer science, GIS, or related field, depending on position level

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise in a product support, product planning, or consulting environment
  • Understanding of existing ArcGIS geodatabase functionality and database integration options
  • Familiarity with current ArcGIS Enterprise architecture best practices
  • Ability to travel as needed
