Job Description
Huawei Canada continues to grow and we?re looking for experts to form a new WSS group in HiSilicon Opto-Electronics. You will be part of a group conducting groundbreaking research and solving complex problems in order to create the highest capacity WSS in the industry.
The ideal candidate thrives on working on a team to solve complex technical problems, thinking outside of the box and taking ownership of technical challenges.
What you?ll do:
- Conduct algorithm research and optimization of LCOS spatial phase modulator, modeling simulation and verification.
- Lead the implementation of the algorithm from single-point theory verification to product implementation, and be responsible for the root cause locating and solution related to algorithms in actual products.
- Identify the value, risks, and feasibility of the cutting-edge technologies of phase algorithms, and provide forward-looking comments on algorithm planning.
Qualifications
What you should have:
- Have a strong fundamental understanding of the knowledge of physical optics, especially diffraction optics; and be familiar with related algorithm knowledge.
- Have a deep understanding of the design and simulation of the phase grating meter in the WSS application scenario.
- Have experience in developing the LCOS phase grating algorithm.
- Have a strong sense of innovation, good communication skills, and team spirit.
- PHD or MASc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
