Job Description

We are looking for research scientists working in the areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning, computer vision, and video understanding. As part of a fundamental research group, our innovations are expected to support R&D in the domains of video search/classification/caption/edit and human machine interaction. By joining our lab, you will have the chance to work on real world problems with industry funding. Our work will contribute to pushing the edge of technology innovation and we expect to publish our research results at top conferences. Responsibilities
Working closely with other research scientists, research engineers, and research interns, you will:

• Design state-of-the-art AI solutions and machine learning algorithms
• Evaluate solutions with common benchmarking suites and with internal simulation environments & data sets

Qualifications

• PhD in computer science or related fields with a focus on computer vision and machine learning.
• Papers at relevant conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, IJCAI, etc.
• In-depth hands-on experience in Python, C/C++, TensorFlow, PyTorch etc. and a track record of translating ideas into research prototypes quickly.
• Working or internship experience at industry research labs or technology companies a plus.
• Experience building large scale machine learning solutions for video content understanding/search/classification, or gesture recognition systems a plus for senior level positions.
