To succeed as a data science advisor, you will need:

• Formal qualifications in computer science, econometrics, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with developing data science applications and deploying and continuously improving solutions at scale.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in programming for advanced analytics purposes.

• Expert knowledge in all steps related to analytics product development, including data processing, analysis, knowledge extraction, and development at scale.

• Extensive knowledge of relevant programming languages (such as Python), including a strong understanding of concepts from functional and/or object-oriented coding paradigms

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• As a data science advisor, you will be responsible for providing insights on applied AI for the customer domain in Group Digital to advance business capabilities and deliverable. You will lead and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to drive a consistent approach to analytical solutions within the domain.

Amongst others you will:

• Coach and develop the full Data Science community in the Customer domain to ensure excellence in analytics methodologies

• Challenge the data scientists on the selected models, approach, and tech stack to enable fast optimizations

• Educate the organization on the role for Data Science in digital product development, and how to succeed with analytics at scale for customers

• Actively manage the relationship between data science at Ingka and relevant external institutions with a shared interest to facilitate open collaboration and scientific progress

• Explore opportunities in the Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence space related to acquisitions, joint ventures, or similar partnerships by working with Ingka Investments to decide what business to partner with or acquire in the future

• Stay relevant with current research and upcoming data science trends and best practice and transform these insights into guiding principles in Group Digital and Ingka

• You are reporting to the Data & Analytics Domain Manager and the position is placed in Amsterdam or Malmö.
