Huawei’s Vancouver Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architecture design and strategic technical planning. Our Rendering Lab is one of the only research labs dedicated to real time rendering for mobile devices. Our mission is to conduct bleeding edge research for the best visual quality on mobile in the world. We?re passionate, fun and well-funded. Responsibilities:
We are looking for research engineers to work on graphics technologies for devices.
- Working closely with internal R&D divisions, implement real-time rendering systems.
- Develop rendering techniques including shaders and content pipeline.
- Profile and optimize GPU / CPU performance.
Qualifications
- Solid programming skills with C/C++.
- Experience with one of the following APIs: Vulkan, OpenGL ES, DirectX.
- Hands-on experience in development of real-time rendering and features.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelors of Science or higher in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field.
What would be nice to have:
- Proficiency in Linux environments
- Knowledge of real-time ray tracing, global illumination
