Cytel's Flexible Solutions Program (FSP) offers statistical programmers, biostatisticians and clinical data specialists amazing opportunities to work on client projects supporting clinical trial design and analysis.

At Cytel we are driving scientific innovation applied to the development of new therapies. For our Functional Service Provider (FSP) Section we are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to support our customer's Advanced Analytics activities. 

Contributions may include:

• Working with Project Teams (mostly phase 2-4) on gaining further insights into their products through advanced analytics
• Apply state of the art models to support assessments and predictions related to mechanisms, relationships, dose effects, safety etc.
• Support strategic assessments and exploratory analytics appropriately
• Work effectively with customer's internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in publication activities as appropriate
• Present models and findings as appropriate to relevant stakeholders
• Develop and execute programs to implement modelling using SAS, R, etc.
• Review and provide input to project documents, study planning etc. as appropriate.
• Contribute to other activities, e.g. adhoc requests, project level activities, health authority related activities etc. as appropriate

What we are looking for:

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Sciences or a closely related discipline. Ph.D. desired
• Familiarity with drug development process, in particular in Full Development (phase 2a - 3) and potentially Real-World Analytics
• Awareness of CDISC data structures
• Strong familiarity with state-of-the-art data sciences methods, e.g. machine learning algorithms, Bayesian methodologies etc.

• Ability to independently identify and refine applicably statistical methodology related to data sciences issues 
• Strong programming skills, e.g. using R, SAS and other applications
• Ability to explain complex methodologies with non-experts
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Results-oriented with good ethics
