Project Description
NASA have a rich set of observational and model data that can be used to study climate science. Our team has several projects that are both continuation of previous work and new explorations in the direction of applying state-of-the-art methods in deep learning/machine learning to tackle various outstanding problems in climate science. We look for interested students to work with us on various aspects of the deep learning workflow, from dataset building, model training, inference, and analysis.
