Job Description
Data sits at the heart of what we do at bloomon and we are looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to join our Business Intelligence & Analytics team. You’ll work closely with our marketing teams to support acquisition strategy across the Bloom & Wild Group; helping teams to understand performance of our media mix through ongoing reporting and deep dive analytics to provide recommendations across both digital and offline channels and drive business outcomes.
The role and ways of working
- This role is suitable for someone who has a breadth of marketing knowledge to bring to the role and challenge our current ways of working
- This role is fast paced, so it will be important that you are able to proactively identify quick wins and make trade-offs while maintaining analytical best practice
- You will be action-oriented and help to ensure that recommendations feed the long-term roadmap for the business, using data insights to suggest multi-channel testing strategies that drive incrementality and lifetime value improvements to customer acquisition
- You will provide robust analysis and easy to understand recommendations that can be explained to both technical and non-technical colleagues
- You will work with stakeholders to address and proactively identify any performance challenges and opportunities
- In addition to providing in depth analysis as needed, you will build reporting to enable stakeholders to self serve
Initially you will support the acquisition team to solve a variety of problems to maximise the Lifetime Value of our customers and profitability of our marketing activity. For example:
- Work on creating a digital attribution solution across all markets to evaluate our marketing mix and determine profitability of different channels and campaigns
- Develop landing page testing and tracking as BAU within marketing analytics
- Develop actionable insights to inform our marketing strategy based on user funnels and interactions
You
- 3+ years experience working in marketing analytics
- Intermediate SQL with regular hands-on experience (Mandatory)
- Proven track record of creating actionable insights, driving business performance and optimising marketing strategy
- Experience using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics to analyse customer funnels and landing pages to optimise the marketing funnel and customer journey
- Track record of working independently to shape analytical problems and define testing methodologies
- Experience using data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Looker or Periscope
- Excellent communication skills & ability to work at all levels of the organisation
- Proactive team member - you take ownership and get stuck in, and you're able to balance multiple projects and priorities
- Empathetic decision maker - you put customers first and seek to understand what will work for them
It would be nice if you also have...
- E-commerce experience
- Experience with digital or multi-touch attribution or econometrics
- Intermediate ability of Excel/Google Sheets
- Understanding of statistical principles (optimisation, regression, predictive modelling, machine learning)
