BuildZoom is the only trusted marketplace for high-value renovations and residential construction, a $250B market in desperate need of disruption. We’ve hit an inflection point and are scaling quickly; this year alone, we’ll manage nearly $400M in projects and are doubling each year with a clear path to become the category-defining platform for residential construction.

We are looking for a talented individual to help spearhead our business analytics efforts, as part of our emerging Data & Analytics team. In this role, you’ll work with leaders across the company to develop rigor in how we ask strategic questions and track the impact of our growth efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and maintain the reporting platform that tracks our key performance indicators on multiple levels (e.g. organization, team, individual) 
• Efficiently address internal requests for data and insights while looking for opportunities to address quantitative questions in a scalable manner 
• Work with business leaders to understand and tackle emerging business challenges, and develop the framework to track the outcomes and impact of our efforts
• Address deeper strategic questions that will influence our multi-year roadmap (e.g. comparative analysis on methods to build marketplace liquidity)

Requirements

• Your chief superpower is the ability to efficiently and effectively address key business questions through the right quant method
• 2+ years demonstrable success in a Business or Data analyst role and a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, econometrics) with a great, verifiable academic record 
• Proficient in SQL and Excel
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• You love customers and have a history of understanding their needs and providing solutions.
• You think of your teammates as customers too.
• Ability to move fast and juggle multiple projects - all while keeping very close attention to detail

Salary Range - 60 - 95k USD. Salary is dependent on experience and work location.
