Job Description
We are currently mandatory work from home, but for the long-term we would like this hire to be located near San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new initiatives to help the Growth Marketing team use Machine Learning to optimize different applications: email, push notifications, user acquisition, etc.
- Build machine learning algorithms and data pipelines, deploy models to production, test the models online and offline in AB test environments
- Collaborate with data scientists, growth engineers, data engineering, product managers, and various teams to make sure algorithms can be launched successfully
- Build the next-generation platform to support our growth efforts across the world
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
- Master’s degree or PhD from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of relevant industry experience in machine learning rankings problems: recommendations, search, rankings, email, push notifications, user acquisition algorithms
- Experience with large-scale datasets, supporting dozens of millions of users
- Ability to write production-quality code incorporating testing, evaluation, monitoring
- Familiarity with common machine learning packages: Python, Scala / Spark, AWS, Numpy, Pandas, XGBoost, SKLearn, TensorFlow, etc.
