Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Reporting & Data Analysis

• Extracting, transforming, and consolidating data from various sources to create clear, meaningful, and user-friendly reports and dashboards.
• Perform complex analyses and associated interpretations: identify required data, create visualizations, identify insights, trends and/or themes; synthesize findings into business-oriented story; create relevant presentations & deliver same to client partners; collaborate with business to explain findings and determine recommendations.
• Design, build and maintain complex reports and dashboards for clients at many levels of the organization.
• Work with business clients to understand business challenges and requirements up front and translate reporting requests into relevant data questions and hypotheses for analysis.
• Think creatively and propose alternatives to meet client needs;support the ongoing improvement of HR analytic tools and capabilities.
• Maintain reporting process documentation.
• Build predictive tools to forecast people trends in support of workforce planning for client partners.
• Document detailed requirements for complex reporting requests.

Data governance & solution development

• Investigate data quality issues, including coordinating with other stakeholders (HR and IT);
• Manage data access requests and role assignment in coordination with IT;
• Ensure data confidentiality guidelines are respected at all times;
• Actively ensure data quality by analyzing issues and coordinating with relevant stakeholders (Data Owners, process owners etc);
• Identify opportunities to develop the solution.

• Understanding of HR systems environment, challenges and opportunities a definite asset;
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written in English, French is an asset 

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

• Sc/BA in Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Business, or computer/engineering/information science;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with data analysis in a similar role;
• Practical experience with data visualization a definite asset;
• Proven skills with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) and statistical methods a definite asset;
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and strong proficiency with MS Word & Powerpoint.
