Your role: You will be joining the Digital & Data Office, Electronics. The team is responsible for driving data analytics in our Electronics Business sector – by enabling data democratization, data governance, empowering a data driven mindset and delivering data analytics solutions. As a Working Student Data Science Electronics, you are supporting the development of algorithms and applications to solve our business problems in R&D, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain. As part of an interdisciplinary and international team, you contribute to analytics projects from ideation and data understanding, through data exploration and preparation, Machine learning and statistical modelling, to communication of results and deployment of applications.

Who you are:

• Current Bachelor or Master student in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a similar field
• Strong skills in Machine Learning and Statistics
• Knowledge in Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, or Probabilistic Modelling is a plus
• Experience in data visualization and building machine learning pipelines using Python or a similar programming language
• Knowledge in cloud computing, MLOps, and front-end development (preferably on AWS) is a plus
• Excellent team player and fast learner
