Job Description

Our tech stack is hosted on AWS and is built on Cloudfront / AWS API Gateway, NGINX, / Java, Redis / ElastiCache and MySQL / Cassandra as our end to end stack. Besides these, we heavily use MongoDB, Kinesis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Spark, Redshift and other cutting edge techs to keep improving Dream11's performance. As a data-driven team, we also use R, Python and other big data technologies for Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics.

Your Role:

• Build supervised/unsupervised and semi-supervised models which solve specific business problems for Dream11
• Design large scale experiments on the top of models to verify the results of the model
• Designing and building Business and Model Metrics to maintain transparency in the entire experimentation process

Must Have:

• Understanding of the math and theory behind basic statistical models as well as deep learning models
• Strong fundamentals in applied statistics and probability
• Experience in data visualisation using a variety of tools & technologies (python, R, looker, data-bricks, etc.) 
• Deep experience in applied data analysis, including A/B testing and observational causal inference methods

Good to Have:

• Implemented a few good Machine Learning papers from scratch
• Understanding of concepts such as cost sensitive learning, tweaking of cost functions, deep learning concepts and implementations
• Familiarity with Spark, Dask, ECR, GPU computations
• Prior experience with Network analysis - ability to model the system mathematically
• An updated active Kaggle profile and actively participates in Kaggle competitions
• Read Elements of Statistical Learning
