Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Warehouse and BI Developer to join our team. The individual will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting business intelligence and data integration solutions in an exciting manufacturing environment that utilizes current IT technologies to deliver critical solutions using lean and agile programming methods. As a BI developer, you will help consolidate and transform data into information used to drive strategic and operational business decisions across the organization. Ideal candidate will have experience on an array of tools that includes Microsoft Azure Data Services (Power BI, Data Factory, SQL Warehouse, Synapse, Purview, etc.).

• Develop and build ETL processes to load data to the data warehouse in Azure
• Develop and optimize Power BI datasets
• Troubleshoot data issues and provide support for BI solutions
• Develop and maintain data models and overall data architecture design
• Build and maintain master data entities using Profisee to help standardize data and improve data quality
• Applicants must be comfortable in an industrial setting and able to support occasional off-hours job fixes and restarts

REQUIREMENTS

• 6-8 years hands-on experience with development of data-centric solutions and architecture, including a blend of Data Visualization, Data Integration, Master Data Management and/or Data Catalogs
• Bachelors degree, Masters in data-related discipline required
• Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Certification preferred
• Must have ability to demonstrate a strong knowledge of creating and maintaining SQL Queries
• In-depth knowledge of Azure data platform and services an asset
• Understanding and comfort with Agile development/management methodology as asset
• Experience deploying continuous development/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines preferred
• Fundamental understanding of data architectures and key components preferred
• 10-15% travel required
• This position can be based in Chicago, Portland or Pueblo. This is a hybrid position with blended work days from office and home
