Job Description

In exchange for an autonomous working environment and the ability to have a direct influence on our business processes, reBuy are looking to bring an experienced Data Scientist onboard to support our Sales and Marketing processes. With an exciting product and impressive datasets, we need your expertise to translate this data into actionable insights that you can confidently share with various stakeholders across the business. This role offers you access to new and unique algorithms that you should be capable of clearly explaining to project groups and business partners across various sites. We take personal ownership seriously at reBuy and this role will be pivotal in driving projects forward with business results and data insights that you have full responsibility for.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to identify process that can be streamlined and improved across various verticals
• Use you analytical experience to mine and analyst our extensive company database to drive improvements within sales, with a strong focus on pricing, marketing techniques and business strategies
• Through personal ownership, you will implement new features, data flows, KPI report and maintenance of all the system mechanics
• Use your hands-on approach to productionise data applications as well as testing those in production quickly and effeciently.
• Implement your experience in predictive modelling to optimise customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and various other marketing avenues.
• Share your customer centric and autonomous work ethic with your project groups, stakeholders and immediate team to complete tasks with minimal guidance.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in Germany
• More than 3 years of experience in Data Science, Data Engineering or similar fields
• A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field
• Experience in setting up data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
• Agile mindset and strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development
• Proficiency in SQL and experience of working with large data sets
• Proven development experience in using Python (or R)
• End-to-end experience with machine learning pipelines, including getting the products live, monitoring them and quality assurance
• Knowledge of a variety of ML techniques and use your experience to decide which would be most effective
• Experience using SSAS (ideally Tabular) and working in cloud environments (ideally Azure)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
