Responsibilities

The Data Engineer for the Growth Planning & Management team is responsible for organizing and manipulating large volumes of data sources to support the analysis of opportunities for recurring revenue growth related to customer account management. The ideal candidate excels at understanding the data needs of the business and can create and manage a structure to optimize and balance business growth objectives down to the individual account level. This role reports to the Manager of Growth planning and supports deep data analytics and growth strategies.

• Organize and manipulate large volumes of data using tools like Alteryx, SQL, Python, and other technologies.
• Create and maintain the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
• Actively contribute to the adoption of strong data engineering architecture, development practices, and new technologies
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation while continuously delivering technical solutions and business impacts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or Engineering related field or equivalent experience
• Excellent knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and patterns.
• Experience architecting and building data pipelines and optimizing them for speed (of imports, exports, and queries) and reliability
• Experience working for a fast-paced strategy development team with strong project management skills and rigorous attention to details
• Ability to create presentations appropriate for executive audiences that articulate a story behind the data and highlight insights
